Hi! My name is Carli Swallow! I am from Homedale, Idaho. A small town in western Idaho near the Oregon border. This will be my second year teaching here at Ascent in 3rd grade and my 3rd year teaching overall. I’m excited and looking forward to building a classroom community of kindness and creative learning. I believe that every child is unique and learns in their own way. My goal is to create a supportive and engaging classroom culture where all students feel valued and motivated to do their best. I want to emphasize a growth mindset, encouraging students to embrace challenges and learn from mistakes. Some things that I love are photography, sports, mountains, camping, and traveling!  My family is very important to me. I am the oldest of 5 and love being the oldest sister! I truly love being a teacher and seeing the potential in all my students and the growth that they make. I am very excited and ready for this school year to be great!
