Hello! My name is Sarah Shields. I grew up in San Diego and then moved to Utah to attend Utah Valley University! I have since fallen in love with this beautiful state and all the adventures and opportunities it has to offer! I have always wanted to work with children and found my calling in teaching elementary. This will be my fourth year teaching at Ascent Lehi and I’m beyond excited to share my passion of learning with my class! Some of my other passions are camping, traveling, art, photography and reading!

I feel very lucky to be a member of the Ascent family! I am looking forward to building an inclusive classroom where my students find their strengths by sharing kindness and knowledge with the world around them! I am looking forward to this school year of learning and growth! Go Huskies!
